The Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) Rehabilitation programmes continued providing services to those injured in war, landmine victims and other physically disabled people in the country.
During the year, the SRCS Rehabilitation Centres respectively located in Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Galkayo produced a total number of 429 orthosis and 534 prothesis while 1924 persons were given physiotherapy treatment.
The SRCS rehabilitation programme for the physically disabled people was established in 1982 in partnership with the Norwegian Red Cross.
